EURO-JUSTIS FP7
217311 EURO-JUSTIS - Scientific Indicators of Confidence in Justice Tools for Policy Assessment

Project Contents

Activities in the EURO-JUSTIS project are conveniently grouped in eight work packages. Two WPs are horizontal in nature (Project Management, WP1 and Dissemination, WP8) while the core of the project consists of 5 scientific WPs, which show interdependencies and will lead to the expected scientific results. One last set of activities (WP7) is then dedicated to validation: the work will be carried out with a group of External Experts who will set the standards for high level scientific results in the proejct and will validate the outcomes against those standards.

Julian Roberts, Professor of Criminology at the University of Oxford has kindly agreed to chair the EEG. Prof. Roberts, a citizen of Canada, has an international reputation for his work on attitudes to punishment and his research interests include sentencing, restorative justice and victims. Prof. Roberts has also a long record of productive cooperation with Mike Hough, coordinator of the consortium.
